Create a Kerberos Environment

Procedure-related prerequisites

  • None.

Example values

  • Name: int.virtinc.com-ch
  • Domain Name: int.virtinc.com
  • Domain Controllers: dc1.int.virtinc.com, dc2.int.virtinc.com
  • System Username: srv-airlock-kerberos@int.virtinc.com

Instruction

  1. Go to: System Setup >> Network Services.
  2. Click at the + sign in the section Kerberos Environments.
  3. Set the following values:
    • -Name: int.virtinc.com-ch
      This is a descriptive name for the Active Directory domain the system user is permitted to do Kerberos constrained delegation.
    • -Domain Name (DNS name): int.virtinc.com
    • -Domain Controllers (comma-separated list): dc1.int.virtinc.com, dc2.int.virtinc.com
      Resolved with DNS requests if left empty (KB - Verify the DNS configuration for Back-side Kerberos SSO).
    • -System Username: srv-airlock-kerberos@int.virtinc.com
      It is highly recommended configuring the system user UPN, especially in a cross-domain setup.
    • -System Password: <YOUR PASSWORD FOR THE SYSTEM USER>
  4. A Kerberos Environment has been configured.
