Uninstallation and rollback

 
Notice

Only hotfixes support uninstall. For major release updates, minor release updates and maintenance updates, implement one of the following rollback strategies:

  • VM deployments:
    Create a pre-update VM snapshot to provide a rollback path.
  • Non-VM deployments (physical/appliance hardware or cloud images without snapshot capability):
    Use your system’s backup/restore process to roll back, or reinstall the previous version.

Uninstalling a hotfix

  1. Log in over SSH as the dedicated menu user to access the Airlock Gateway admin menu:

  3. Select the 2) Updates option and confirm to access the Update Menu:

    1) Apply update "airlock_update_x.y.zip" 
 
    a) Display list of all installed updates 
    u) Uninstall hotfix 
    c) Clear list of uploaded updates 
 
    b) Back to Main Menu 
    q) Quit 
 
Your choice?
  5. Select the u) Uninstall hotfix option and confirm.
  6. Follow the uninstall instructions to finish the process.
