IAM with a single Microgateway
Protecting Airlock IAM with a single Microgateway

The setup using a single Microgateway is similar to integrating Airlock IAM with the Airlock Gateway appliance. Please refer to the Airlock IAM manual for the basic setup.

This setup is only recommended if few services are involved. With lots of services, this quickly evolves towards the anti-pattern of replacing an Airlock Gateway appliance with a single Microgateway instance.

Characteristics of setup

  • Similar to Single Microgateway with multiple services, which means, that the same arguments apply here.
  • Separate mapping for Airlock IAM on the Microgateway.
  • Roles are set using the Airlock Control API.
  • The Microgateway is connected to a Redis service.
