Some settings in the Adminapp and in the login application may be defined differently for different user groups.
A user's group is derived from the user's data using so-called user group conditions. A separate group condition is specified for each group to be considered by the configuration.
- Examples of group conditions:
- All users with the company value SnakeOil Inc. are part of the group SnakeOilUsers. This can be configured with the group condition plugin Context Data User Group Condition.
- All users having an email address ending in @my-company.com are in the group InternalUsers. This can be configured with the group condition plugin Context Data User Group Condition.
- All users with a username containing an @ are in the group externalUsers. his can be configured with the group condition plugin Context Data User Group Condition.
Using group conditions, any grouping can be defined. The most simple grouping is done by writing the group name in a context data field and using this for the grouping (as in the first example above).
