Airlock IAM can be configured to ask a user to answer questions in order to gain some confidence in the user's identity. This can be used to identify the user in the password reset self-service.
Questions are chosen such that the answer is usually only known to the legitimate user.
Example questions:
- What was the name of your first pet?
- What is your mother's maiden name?
- What was the name of your first teacher?
- What was the name of your best friend in primary school?
