The Standalone Config Editor is a WAR file that can be deployed in a web container independent of an Airlock IAM installation. It can be used as just an editor for the configuration.
Prerequisites for deployment/installation
- A servlet container running the same Java version as the IAM SCA (e.g. Java 11 for IAM 7.3). Note that the Standalone Config Editor is only tested with the Apache Tomcat version that is embedded in the IAM SCA.
- Ensure that you have a valid license agreement to use Airlock IAM in the planned way.
Deployment/installation
- Request the latest version of the Standalone Config Editor via a support ticket on https://techzone.ergon.ch
- Deploy the WAR file to the servlet container:
- The WAR file name defines the path of the Config Editor.
- Copy the WAR file to the "webapp" directory (or use a container specific deployment method).
Example:
The file airlock-iam-config-editor-7.3.war
will be available at http://localhost:8080/airlock-iam-config-editor-7.2/editConfig
