Service

Short analysis

Goals

The customer gets a rough estimate of the complexity of the migration from the vendor.

Description

Analysis of the Airlock IAM configuration to determine which features are used in the JSP-Loginapp. This includes a first evaluation of whether the new Loginapp supports the features.

Outcome / deliverable

A list of used features with comments. Each feature is classified as either of

  • the feature is available in the new Loginapp
  • the feature or its usage must be further analyzed
  • the feature is not available in the new Loginapp

The resulting report is presented and discussed with the customer.

Prerequisites

An up-to-date and relevant configuration must be made available to Ergon.

Service

Migration consulting

Goals

The customer is able to estimate the work packages of the migration and plan a migration.

Description

Based on the short analysis, we conduct a workshop with the customer to find solutions for the features that need further analysis or that are no more available.

Optionally, we point out new capabilities of the flow concept, identify requirements, and bring in our experience regarding security and usability.

Outcome / deliverable

Documented proposed solutions and complexity indication for the aforementioned features.

Optionally: documentation of the desired flows for the identified use cases.

Prerequisites

  • Short analysis (see separate service description)
  • Workshop(s) with the customer with persons understanding well how the old Loginapp was used and have an understanding for the desired flows.

Out of scope

The following tasks are expected to be done by the customer and are not part of the service:

  • Effort/cost estimates for the migration.
  • Use case design with respect to user experience.
  • A more detailed analysis of the customer journey would go beyond the scope of this migration consultation and would have to be offered separately.

Migration support

Goals

Professional help in case of uncertainty.

Description

We actively help with the configuration. The customer configures the new Loginapp and we are there to give tips and help to solve problems.

Outcome / deliverable

Prerequisites

  • The customer has an overview of the used features and knows how to map them to Loginapp REST UI features.
  • The customer has ownership of the configuration and is able to conduct configuration changes.

Out of scope

The following tasks are expected to be done by the customer and are not part of the service:

  • We only assist in configuration changes. The changes are conducted by the customer.
  • UI customization is done by the customer (or a 3rd party).

Service

Guru Training (Academy)

Goals

Customers are able to configure practical use cases in the Loginapp REST API and are able to configure the Loginapp REST UI for them.

Description

Based on use cases, the participants learn how the Loginapp REST API and the Loginapp REST UI work. An example scenario is implemented, which includes common aspects such as self-registration, 2-factor authentication, step-up, and self-services.

  • certified in IAM Connaisseur

Out of scope

This is not a migration training and does not cover the old Loginapp and its features.

It is not a basic IAM training (see prerequisites).
