Terms and definitions in user representation

representer Loginapp

The part of an Airlock IAM instance that authenticates e.g. support-users before they can access the representer application.

representer application

An application in the representer system that lists representable end-users and allows e.g. a support-user to start a representation session.

Example: This application can be used e.g. in a bank that allows bank employees to represent end-users, create new customers, inspect customer accounts, or authorize customers for particular banking services.

representee (session)

An authorized service-user can start a representee session on behalf of an end-user, to act as the representative of this end-user.

Example: A personal customer service consultant of a bank in a representee session who accesses an end-user's account for support actions.
