The configuration resides in the Generic Token Controller config (Adminapp >> Users >> Authentication Tokens (Credentials)). If desired, a generic UI can be configured to manage generic tokens in the Adminapp.
The Token Endpoint Configuration controls the behavior of the REST interface. In particular, it defines which repository (persistency) is to be used and which internal token attributes should be mapped to REST.
The Id chosen in the Generic Token Controller Config is used as an identifier of this token's authentication method as well as token type in the URL of the REST endpoint.
