NTLM troubleshooting tips

  • The login fails due to a bad username or password even if we are sure that the username and password are correct. This behavior is persistent for all users.
  • We experience this behavior when we had the wrong domain name configured. Please check the NetBIOS domain name in the NetLogin settings is correct.

  • An error occurs if a user logs in successfully and the user gets a technical error message. Check if there is a User Persister configured in the Loginapp.
  • In this case, the user must also exist in that user store, otherwise, the login fails.
