KB - Verify time synchronization

  • Airlock IAM
  • Active Directory domain controller
  • Back-end server

Question or problem

Verify that the time is in sync on all involved systems.

Kerberos has strict timing requirements. If the time is out of sync, authentication may fail.

Instruction

  1. Test execution and verification:
  2. Verify that the time is in sync on the following systems:
    • -Airlock Gateway
    • -Airlock IAM
    • -Active Directory domain controllers
    • -Back-end server
  3. The time is in sync on all systems above.
  • In case of failure:
  • Configure an NTP server on the systems to ensure that the time will not be out of sync after a while.
