About WebDAV

Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) is an extension of the HTTP protocol, which greatly simplifies sharing, editing, and managing of documents stored on a WebDAV server.

Typically, WebDAV is reached from the Internet, which increases the risk of being attacked. To increase security, Airlock Gateway should be installed between the WebDAV server and its clients. This gives users full access to WebDAV features, while still having a secure environment.
