Section – Back-end addresses

Back-end Addresses

Specifies interfaces and IP addresses of the internal (trusted) network connected to the back-end application servers.

Network interface

Select the network interface to which a back-end IP should be bound. Either a physical or virtual interface can be chosen.

IP address (CIDR)

Configures an IPv4 (in CIDR format) or IPv6 address for a back-end interface.

Using IPv6 address as back-end hostname requires additional squared brackets for rewrite variables.

Example:

^(?:https?://(?:\[)?%BACKENDHOSTNAME%(?:\])?)?(?::%BACKENDPORT%)?/(owa|ecp)(/.*)?$
