Section – Import a configuration

Import a configuration file to load its settings for review or activation purposes.

What happens during import?

  • During import:
  • The configuration file will be uploaded.
  • The settings of the imported file are loaded but not activated automatically.

Importing a configuration file will overwrite your current settings. Save your settings in a new configuration file if necessary.

If the version of the configuration file to be imported is no longer supported by the current Airlock Gateway release, the import process fails with the message: The uploaded file is not valid or an outdated configuration. Make sure the file originates from a supported Airlock Gateway version and is not corrupt.

In this case, you can update the old configuration files by importing and re-exporting the file on previous Airlock Gateway versions that still support the outdated configuration file version. In this way, you can increase the configuration file version until the file is supported by the current Airlock Gateway version. For the oldest supported file version of this Gateway release, see Release notes.
