Enable WebDAV and add authoring rule

The WebDAV extension needs to be enabled and an authoring rule to be configured in order to use it.

• The previously described configuration steps have been carried out.

1. Go to: Administrative Tools >> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
2. In the Connections span, expand the Sites node tree.
3. In the Connections span, select the Default Web Site.


The instructions describe the required steps for the Default Web Site.

4. Double-click on the WebDAV Authoring Rules feature.
5. In the Actions span, click on Enable WebDAV.
6. WebDAV is enabled for the particular Web Site.
7. In the Actions span, click on Add Authoring Rule...
8. Set the following values:
1. Allow access to: All content
2. Allow access to this content to: All users
3. Permissions: Read, Source and Write
9. Click on OK to activate the setting.
10. WebDAV is configured to allow all users full access.
